Anonymous: I want to order things online but i need a pay pal, how do I use it. Do I buy it in the store and add cash into it??

well, first off, to use pay pal you must have a credit/debit card. if you don’t, then honestly there isn’t a way (at least that i’m aware of) that you can order anything online. but if you do have a credit/debit card, click here and i’m sure all your pay pal related questions will be answered.

hello followers! i have a bit of an announcement for all of you. a 2014 resolution of mine is to actually post on this blog. i need something in my life, besides school, that will help me be more productive, because i’m not okay with just sitting around when i’m not in class and doing nothing. with that said, there are a few post that will be coming out soon. and here’s a list:

• how to: clean/care for american apparel cities canvas tote bag
• cute clothes (and other items) for cheap! (this will be a series of posts, not just one big one)
• makeup list/review
• hair care products list/review
• winter favorites

if you guys want to see anything else, just let me know! i am always open to suggestions. However, i can’t do a makeup tutorial till maybe spring break, in march, because i don’t have access to a video camera of high enough quality. alrighty, that’s it.

xoxo beckah

online shopping

if you’re like me, online shopping is one of your favorite things to do in your downtime. but it gets to be a little less fun when you only look at the same 4 websites. so, to fix that problem, i’ve complied a list of great online clothing stores, with super cute clothes and semi-affordable prices!

also, make sure to always check for coupon codes! there’s almost never a time where you can’t find some sort of coupon. just google “(store name here) coupon code”, and you’re bound to find something!

makeup: skincare

so, it’s been a while, and i’m really sorry about that. but i have a new post for you guys! one that i’ve been meaning to make for a long time now. this entry is all about… makeup! specifically skincare. these are my absolute favorite products i’ve used, and i recommend them to everyone. they’re all also really affordable. i’ll include reviews/descriptions, links, and prices. so here goes nothing!

1. Giovanni D:tox System Purifying Facial Cleanser - $9.81

i originally bought this product because i found it for really cheap at marshall’s, or t.j.maxx, i’m not sure which one. i was also enticed because i use several other giovanni products, and i’d give them all two thumbs up. it’s also organic! which i find to be extreme important in a facial cleanser. you’re putting this product directly onto your face, and rubbing it into your skin, so it not having a harsh, or damaging chemicals is wonderful. it balances pH and removes makeup. it leaves my face feeling rejuvenated and deeply cleansed. it’s also really cool because it’s made out of volcanic ash and charcoal so the product is black (but don’t worry it won’t tint your skin or anything).

2. Giovanni D:tox System Replenishing Facial Moisturizer - $9.43

even if you don’t wear any makeup, you need a facial moisturizer! it’s all-over beneficial to the health and appearance of your skin. don’t want wrinkles when you’re older? make sure to moisturize. i use several different kinds of moisturizers, but i prefer this one the most. mainly because it’s organic, as well as the facial cleanser. in fact, the products are meant to be used together. they’re part of a 3-step facial care routine designed by giovanni. unfortunately, i don’t have the other step, which is a facial scrub, but, who knows, maybe i’ll end up buying that too, soon. anyway, i haven’t got much else to say on this product. it moisturizers well and has no harsh chemicals, so it’s good in my book. (i originally purchased this at marshall’s as well)

3. H2O Plus Marine Toner (alcohol free) - $12.19

yet another marshall’s find. i won’t lie, i mainly bought this product because of it’s visual appeal. the product itself is one of the most beautiful shades of blue i’ve ever seen, and the bottle is wonderfully simple, and i just adore everything about it. another all natural product. which was another selling factor. i’ve never really noticed the difference between toners, so i can’t say that it’s absolutely amazing. it gets the job done, yet again, no harsh chemicals, and is pretty to look at. it’s a 10/10 to me.

4. Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse - $7.97

this by far my favorite makeup product i own. i’ve been using this type of foundation for nearly 3 years now. nothing can quite compare. i’m not a huge fan of liquid foundation and i hate powder foundation, so if you combine the two, you come up with the perfect product- mousse! this foundation has great coverage, it goes on easy, gives skin a creamy look, and it lasts all day. it even comes with its very own applicator sponge, so no need to go out and buy a pack a sponges. it comes in a wide variety of shades and can be found at almost any drugstore, including target and walmart. so, if you’re gonna buy any of these products i’ve listed, this should be the one.

5. E.L.F. Baked Blush (Passion Pink) - $4.39

next to mascara, blush is the most important part of my makeup routine. you could do an entire face of makeup, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara included, and it wouldn’t look complete without blush. at least, in my opinion. i’m a huge fan of pink blushes, nothing dark, and it has to have some sort of shine or sparkle to it. so e.l.f. makes a great super pink, shimmery blush for an extremely affordable price. sure, there are better blushes out there, but they cost around $30 and i just don’t have that kind of money to spend on blush. so for around $4, i say this blush can’t be beat. this can be found anywhere e.l.f. products are sold. i purchased this at walmart.

as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. same with comments. just put them in my ask box. i love to hear what you guys have to say! thank you all for following and sorry it took so long to update!

Anonymous: how do you edit your photos on instagram if you don't mind me asking? i know you use after light, but what filter and/or steps?

to be honest, the only thing i do is use the “russ” filter. sometimes i’ll adjust the brightness and such if it is not to my liking. but that’s all i do.
