This past month I bought some new beauty products, and I’m gonna give them a quick review for you guys!
I wanted something simple for my skin this summer. Something that wasn’t too heavy and wouldn’t clog my pores. So, I decided to try out a BB cream and I must say I LOVE it. It gives my skin a natural, untouched look, yet covers everything it needs to cover. However, I have pretty perfect skin to start out with, so if you’re the opposite, then you’re not going to want to use this as a foundation. This isn’t for people who need heavy coverage. You could certainly use it as a base or a primer and then put better foundation on top of it, if you need more coverage. But, for me, this is excellent.
2. Victoria’s Secret Illuminating Face Powder
Sorry to say this, but this product is no longer available in stores. So if you want it, you may have to go on an online hunt. I would suggest doing so, honestly. This is one of my favorite face products ever. I’m completely obsessed with the intense highlight and contour look and this product certainly delivers the intense highlight. However, it comes out in a shade of pink. Although it’s not super pigmented like blush, it does have a noticeable pink tone. So if that’s not something you want, then stay away from this product.
3. Victoria’s Secret Luminous Mineral Blush Duo
This is another VS product that’s been discontinued. Super unfortunately. But on the plus side, I snagged this for about $3! Anyway, this blush is wonderful. Nice, bright pigment and a slight shimmer. The only complaint I have is the colors. I wish I would’ve gotten this in a shade darker because it’s just a little too vibrant pink for me, but they didn’t have any other colors. Regardless, I still love it. Great for summertime!
4. H&M Double-Ended Brush - $4.95
I actually got this brush for only $1. They had it in the clearance bin at my local H&M, but it’s still full price online. That being said, I wouldn’t pay $5 for this brush. The concept of this brush is great. Kind of killing two birds with one stone, but the quality…. not so much. It’s not the worst makeup brush I’ve used, but it’s no where near the best. It’s worth the $1 I paid for it. Why isn’t it the greatest? The bristles are very dry and stiff. Although, I use the smaller, flat end for applying my BB cream, which is a liquid, so it cancels out the stiffness of the brush. So, if you find this on clearance at H&M for $1, you should certainly buy it! But if you find it for full price, don’t bother buying it.
Hopefully by the end of this month I’ll have a video out!

First things first, I did NOT pay $25 for this scrub. I think that’s insane. I picked up this wonderful sugar scrub at Marshall’s for around $6 or $8. I can’t exactly remember, but it was cheap. So, if you want to buy this, I suggest you look there before spending $25 on it online. Anyway, this is an amazing exfoliator! I have a real problem with ingrown hairs and such on my legs and this product works wonders. I use it on my legs, butt, arm pits, back, and face. It makes everything so super smooth! And the scent is to die for. Seriously, I’ve never smelled anything so delicious. I’m honestly half tempted to eat it. So, do I think it’s worth $25? No. Because it’s not liquid gold in a jar. It’s pineapple-scented sugar. Truly wonderful, but not worth $25. However, if you can find it a TJ Maxx or Marshall’s, then you should definitely buy it! It’s a summer must-have in my book.
This is pretty much the best smelling and tasting lip balm I’ve ever tried! And for around $3, you really can’t beat it. It says this is a “medicated” lip balm, which means it’s supposed to be super good at helping chapped lips. I have the most chapped lips on the face of the earth, so of course I had to buy this. However, I haven’t been using this product frequently enough to tell you guys whether or not it works better than any “non-medicated” lip balm. So I’ll have to keep you guys posted on that. But it does leave my lips feeling, and looking, a lot better than they did before application. Besides, the packaging is so visually appealing to me, I couldn’t care less how well the product works.
My most shopped at stores are:
I’m 19, turning 20 in October. I’m around 5’6 and I weigh 103 pounds.
Cool Gear Eco 2 Go Double Wall Reuseable Coffee Cup BPA Free
like an outfit or the day, or what do you mean??
So this post features a list of the makeup I use every day. I’ve provided the names, the prices, and a link to where you can buy it online. I would do a review but I feel like that’s useless. Obviously they’re all great products if I use them every day of my life. I might, one day, do a makeup tutorial to show you how I apply everything and make it look as fabulous as I do. But i’m not sure how when that’s going to happen, so have this for now!
