aw thanks C: as soon as i go home for christmas break, this will be the first post i make. i promise.
i’ve really been meaning, for quite a while, i’ve just never had the chance to. maybe if enough people ask, i’ll do it :p
to be honest, the only thing i do is use the “russ” filter. sometimes i’ll adjust the brightness and such if it is not to my liking. but that’s all i do.
i go to a small christan college called geneva and i’m majoring in visual communications.
my theme is by http://lilyonthybrow.tumblr.com/. but i’ve edited it completely. if you want the code, just message me and i’ll give it to you.
since i never update this blog, i’m going to be answering some of the questions i’ve received thus far. so if you have any questions, regarding anything, feel free to ask! pry into my life
yeah, so i realize this is a little late. three months late, to be exact. but late is better than never! i guess… haha, anyway. i took this back in june with all intentions of making a blog evepost about it, but i never really got around to it. i’m pretty bad at blogging, actually. i just have a terrible attention span and typically zero motivation. so i apologize for the lack of posts. so let me just get started with this one. okay.
okay, so these are my june favorites. if you have any questions/comments don’t hesitate to share! and i will try as best i can to update more frequently. maybe one every weekend. okay, love you guys and thank you for following xoxo

“so this happened today. if you know anything about me, you know how much i love pugs (of course sloths are my first love but pugs are definitely next in line). probably bordering on obsessed, tbh. but never in all of my life have i ever seen one. or touched one. so today, my dreams came true. i got to meet a pug. and pet it and play with it and kiss it and enjoy its ever so wonderful presence. i honestly can’t remember at time in my life when i’ve been more excited. or happy. easily one of the greatest things ever to happen to me. i’m still smiling.”

hello followers! so, recently i’ve gained quite a few followers, mainly from instagram i think. and i’d just like to say thank you to each one of you for following me! i seriously do appreciate it so much :) it warms my heart to see that people are actually interested in following a blog that’s just about my life.
i just wanted to give you guys a quick update on my life. so, this sunday, august 25th, i will be moving back to college. which could either mean more frequent updates, or less frequent updates, depending on my work load & social life. but i promise i will at least post all the summer posts i’ve been working on. and i have quite a few of those. i’d say to expect all of those out by the end of august. but after that, i can’t make any promises with frequent updates. although, i would really like to make updates as frequent as possible, more than 2 or 3 times a week, and actually start seriously blogging. but i have a terrible attention span, and when i have freetime at school, i tend to lie around and do nothing so accomplishing that might be a small challenge. but i will try to do my best!
posts to expect:
and that’s essentially all i have for this post. so, thanks again for following, i adore all of you!

green tea is one of my all-time favorite drinks– hot or iced. it tastes absolutely amazing, better than any other tea, in my opinion, and it also has great health benefits. so, i’m always open to trying green tea in any kind of drink form. i’ve noticed recently starbucks green tea lattes have become quite popular so i decided i’d try to make one of my own at home, for much cheaper. most green tea latte recipes call for matcha powder, which is just a powdered green tea. however, matcha can be quite expensive. usually $20 a container. since i don’t have an extra $20 just lying around to spend on green tea powder, i wanted to create a recipe without using matcha. and i believe i succeeded.

the only problem i had with this recipe was the strong milk taste. and that’s only because i do not like milk. at. all. i could never stand to drink straight white milk. so, if you’re like me, and don’t necessarily like milk, add less than the 3/4 cups called for. you can also use soy or almond milk for a less milky taste. also, if you’d like a more green tea taste, you can make more than 1 cup of green tea concentrate. but all in all, this makes a delicious, unique green tea latte.
so, a little while ago i was feeling really down for quite some time. i couldn’t sleep at night, so when i would sleep i’d sleep in till 3 o’clock, and after i woke up, i’d just lay in bed all day and do nothing. i guess my family noticed so my mom decided to take me out to try and cheer me up.
she took me down to the waterfront (same place i went with my sister that made a post about a month or so ago), to get me the one thing that’s guaranteed to cheer me up: iced coffee.
i got my typical caramel iced coffee, but skipped the soy milk because, as it turns out, that costs extra! which is completely ridiculous, if you ask me.

this is one of the simplest and most delicious recipes i’ve tried! it’s also a very quick thing to make. the only thing that takes any time is juicing the lemons. but if you’re using store bought lemon juice then this recipe should take absolutely no time at all! hope you all enjoy!

iced coffee is a very popular drink nowadays. especially since it’s summertime, and days are averaging 80 degrees, most people don’t want to drink hot coffee. yet they still need their caffeine fix. so what’s the solution? a nice cup of refreshing iced coffee.
i think we can all agree that starbucks is expensive. some might even say over-priced. it’s ridiculous to me to pay $3 for a drink, when i could just make it at home. and that’s why i making this post, because i want to share this recipe with you guys so you will no longer have to pay $3+ for a starbucks iced coffee.

this recipe is very flexible, and easy to personalize. you can make it exactly how you want it, instead of how some employee at starbucks would make it.

me and my sister hannah went down to this place near my house called the waterfront. if you live in/around pittsburgh you’re probably familiar with the area. it’s one of my favorite places to go around here, there’s a bunch of places to shop and eat, and it’s also visually appealing. anyway, me and hannah had to take our grandma to physical therapy, and we went to starbucks while we were waiting for her to be finished. basically, nothing interesting happened, but i just wanted to post my pictures.
if for some reason you’re wondering what we got to drink, i’ll let ya know. hannah got a double chocolatey chip frapuccino(which has no coffee so imo it tastes like shit) and i got a iced caramel coffee with vanilla soy milk. i typically get a tall iced caramel macchiato, but i discovered that it’s almost $2 more than a grande iced caramel coffee. so, you can get a bigger size of almost the same drink, for about $2 less. so it’s safe to say i’m switching over.
they have some of the prettiest flowers down at the waterfront, and no matter when i go down, or who i’m with, i always take pictures of them. simply because flowers are my favorite things to take pictures of.
so, all in all, i had a very nice, relaxing, afternoon with hannah. i mean, starbucks, flowers, and sunshine, how could that not be nice?
